NOTE:

“The Draug,” “Roald and the Fossegrim,” “Reindeer Winter,” and “Troll on the Mountain” are all set in Norway, and were written when I was working as an actor aboard Norwegian America Line and Swedish America Line cruise ships Vistafjord, Sagafjord and Kungsholm. Norwegian folklore and Trolls fascinated me, and you can Google “Fossegrim” and “Draug” to learn more about the sources of two of my stories. If you can only sail one cruise in your life, a North Cape adventure through the Fjordlands would be my choice: Glorious scenery, all-night sunshine, wonderful people, food, towns and cities, and maybe a Troll!
